Rainy Day

Today is glorious! I LOVE this weather. Don't get me wrong, I am purely a California girl, but I really love a rainy day here and there.

I went to the dentist today. No dry sockets, hooray! Lots of food trapped in there...sick. He informed me that I have the teeth of a 220 pound man with the jaw of a petite girl, no wonder I hurt so bad. Needless to say, I was flattered by the...compliment? He has ordered me to put heating pad on my face to get the blood flowing to carry away the bruises.
I don't mind it though, it's raining and I get to look at the window, enjoy my view of the parking lot, curl up with a good book, and listen to music. Ah the life of the unemployed.

Thinking...

So i was sitting here thinking (as I recently have a lot of time to do as I am restricted to my mom's couch bed) what should i blog about. not much ...i have nothing to blog about because i am lying prostrate most of my day. But i wish britt would have posted a picture of her face. it was pretty puffy for a while...i received much entertainment at her expense. since she didn't post a picture of her face I'll give you a good one. Here we are, as Brittany previously mentioned- wallowing in our misery.

p.s. sorry that under girls trever hoehne is listed instead of me. hehe i just added the blog to our wearehoehne account and it's under trever's name...woops.

well that's all for now... enjoy your night

WISDOM TEETH!

Brittany here...

I made a terrible impulse decision to get my wisdom teeth removed this week. Apparently I had four impacted teeth. This means that they are terribly hard to get out, and that your face will swell like a bull dog. The picture demonstrates impacted teeth, enjoy :)

Friday I woke up nauseated, and proceeded to spend the next 10 hours throwing up. Not cool. There was a point when I thought to myself..."Just die." But I lived through it. Apparently the pain medicine I was taking I am allergic to. Oh well :) Sam has been a wonderful nurse. She even brought me flowers. My mom and Bruce spent a lot of time over here as well. And of course, my Taylor was here. When I had finally emptied my stomach of any pain medicine and could eat again, he made me the most wonderful mashed potatoes I have ever had.

Today we are heading over to moms. That way Brooke and I can share the couch and wallow in our misery :)

Inaugaration

This first post is to welcome us into the blogging world. For those of you who found yourself here by mistake as opposed to the actual girls next door blog, this must be a real let down. We make no apologies.

This should be an exciting week for us here, there will be multiple posting soon. We've got two Watkins girls down for the count. Brooke got toe surgery and I'm (Britt) going in for my wisdom teeth on Thursday. Well that's all for now.

This picture is us in Mammoth for Spring Break 08!
